Major National Event Expected for April 8th Solar Eclipse

On April 8th, the most highly-anticipated astronomical event in American history, known as the Great American Eclipse, is set to occur. This event has prompted a response from the federal government and several states, raising questions among the public. The National Guard, which is typically deployed in national emergency situations, is being mobilized for the eclipse. Additionally, several warnings have been issued to various states, predicting widespread power outages, food and gas shortages, and credit card machine malfunctions.

The Great American Eclipse Path

The Great American Eclipse will be visible across nearly all of North America, with the path of totality beginning in Mexico, traversing through Texas, up towards Maine, and ultimately concluding in the North Atlantic.

The Emergency Response

In anticipation of the Great American Eclipse on April 8th, millions of Americans are planning to travel to prime viewing locations along the path of totality. Oklahoma is suggested to be one of the best states for viewing the eclipse, with an expected influx of 100,000 visitors to a single county. This unprecedented situation has prompted the deployment of the Oklahoma National Guard to “provide first responders and hazmat response units in case of an incident, such as an industrial fire.” Currently, residents of Oklahoma, Texas, Illinois, and Indiana are being urged to stock up on food and gas, and to have multiple forms of communication besides cellular.

Hays County, Texas, has issued warnings to its residents, advising them to anticipate credit card machines potentially malfunctioning during the Great American Eclipse. The question arises as to why credit card machines may become inoperable.

In Arkansas, the Division of Emergency Management conducted a live training exercise to simulate potential emergencies that could occur during the eclipse. This exercise aimed to test the agency’s response to issues that may arise as visitors flock to the state to witness the event, with scenarios including severe weather, traffic, medical emergencies, and communication challenges.

Completing the ‘X’

As the Great American Eclipse traverses North America, the Sun, Moon, and seven other planets in our solar system will align. This year’s solar eclipse will also complete an ‘X’ over the New Madrid Fault, which encompasses parts of Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, Kentucky, and Illinois. The other half of this ‘X’ was started by the total solar eclipse in August 2017.

The Abounding Speculation

As the Great American Eclipse approaches on April 8th, Americans question the seemingly extreme government response. While heavy traffic, increased medical emergencies, food shortages, and cellular outages due to the influx of people to certain communities are expected, the anticipation of power outages and disabled credit card machines raises concerns. Some speculate that a false flag or black swan event may be the underlying reason. After the exposure of Operation Northwoods, which revealed the potential for CIA operatives to conduct attacks against U.S. military personnel and civilians for geopolitical gain, nothing seems out of bounds. The perceived overreach in the use of the National Guard has left many citizens concerned.
